These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Mint Green Creative ("we", "us"), operator of cuecard.studio ("the Service"). By creating an account, paying for a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Please also read our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
CueCard Studio is a web-based teleprompter. The Service lets you write, import, save, and display scripts as a scrolling teleprompter or as cue cards. Some features (AI script tools, voice modes, remote control) are available only to Pro subscribers.
The Service runs as a Progressive Web App in your browser. You bring your own device and your own scripts.
You sign in using Google or Apple. You're responsible for keeping the account secure and for everything that happens under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
Scripts you write, paste, or import are your content. You own them. We do not claim any ownership of your scripts.
You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your scripts only to the extent needed to provide the Service to you (showing your scripts back to you, syncing them across your devices, processing them through AI features if you ask). We don't use your scripts for any other purpose.
You're responsible for the legality and content of what you upload. If you upload someone else's copyrighted text without permission, that's on you.
We offer the following Pro plans (prices in USD, subject to change with notice):
Payments are processed by Stripe. By starting a subscription you authorize us to charge your payment method for the recurring fee, including applicable taxes, until you cancel.
Monthly and annual subscriptions auto-renew. You can cancel any time through the Stripe customer portal linked from the app, or by emailing hello@cuecard.studio. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; Pro access continues until then.
Monthly and annual plans include a free trial period. You can cancel during the trial to avoid being charged. If you don't cancel, you'll be charged at the end of the trial.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We may make exceptions at our discretion for billing errors or extenuating circumstances — email hello@cuecard.studio if you think you have a refund case.
For the Lifetime plan, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not made significant use of Pro features. After 7 days, lifetime purchases are non-refundable.
We may change pricing for monthly or annual plans with at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the change means you accept the new price. Lifetime customers are not affected by future price changes.
"Lifetime" means for the lifetime of the Service as we operate it under the cuecard.studio name. If we discontinue the Service, lifetime customers won't be charged again but cannot demand a continued service. We will give at least 60 days' notice before discontinuing.
You can stop using the Service at any time. If you want your account and scripts deleted, email hello@cuecard.studio.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity. If we terminate your account for cause, no refunds are owed.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.
The Service is a tool. It is not a substitute for professional editorial, legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for the content you read on-air and for the consequences of your performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mint Green Creative is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will update the effective date and notify you in-app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
